Composition:

Each Antinal 24 Capsule contains 200mg of Nifuroxazide as the active ingredient. Alongside, it includes a blend of excipients such as Pregel Maize Starch, Sucrose, Croscarmellose Sodium, and Magnesium Stearate. The capsule shell consists of Gelatin, Titanium Dioxide E171, and Yellow Iron Oxide 172.

Therapeutic Indications:

Antinal is specifically indicated for the treatment of acute bacterial diarrhea in adults and adolescents without signs of systemic spread. It effectively alleviates symptoms like general malaise, fever, and infectious toxicity. While using Antinal, it is essential to maintain dietary restrictions and rehydration practices as necessary. The choice of oral or intravenous rehydration depends on the severity of the diarrhea, age, and overall condition of the patient, including any associated illnesses.

Dosage and Route of Administration:

For adults, the recommended dosage of Antinal is 1 capsule taken orally, four times a day. Swallow the capsules whole with water. It is crucial not to exceed the treatment duration of 3 days.

Contraindications:

At this point, Antinal should not be used in individuals with hypersensitivity to nitrofurane derivatives or any of the capsule constituents. Furthermore, it is contraindicated in patients below 15 years of age.
